After yesterday's post about moving into the abundant maturity of electronic information, this thing landed on my front step.
Whoever made this particular phone book crows on the cover about the QR codes that you can read with your smart phone. Because the phone company thinks that I'm going to drag this thing into my house and store is somewhere, all so that when I'm already on the internet I can drag it out to tell me where on the internet to go. Suuuurrre.
I did what everyone with an internet connection--not even a smartphone!--has done for about a decade: tossed it directly into the recycling. Though phone books are made from such poor paper that they frequently can't be recycled... they're just that fabulous.
